OUR SHINING STAR - This is a very personal project for me and my family. It is a children’s book I wrote and illustrated to be used as a tool to help children understand and cope with child death. It can be a very confusing time in a child’s life being told for months that they will be getting a little brother or sister in their life very soon but it never actually happens. After researching the resources available I found them to be very lacking and decided to take it upon myself to create something that could help people in this situation.
