BAR MENUS - Images 1 through 7 were commissioned for a trendy cocktail bar in London named Dovetail. The first 3 images were all variations I submitted to the client for an A5 menu insert to be used through the winter whilst they added a limited-time hot drinks option to their current menu. They ended up moving forward with the first option you see in the gallery above.
Images 4-7 are actually the first job I did for this client (Dovetail). They were having a private function at their bar and wanted a bespoke menu created for this event. As you can probably tell from the illustrations and cocktail names this was a Halloween-themed event. This was a double-sided A5 printout with their main logo on one side and the cocktail menu on the other. All of the illustrations around the border were hand-drawn and added to help make the menu a little more visually interesting. The client decided to go with the red and gold colourway for the menu and as you can see from the 9th images this is what it looked like when freshly printed.
The final two images you can see here were for a commission from a new microbar that opened in my hometown (The Rawmarsh Tap). After they opened they wanted a custom-made menu that would match the colour scheme and design of their main logo and signage for a cocktail menu. Once I handed over my work for this they decided that they liked it so much that they wanted to to be made into a full drinks menu and not just a cocktail menu so this is what you can see in the final image.
